Brackish Water Desalination Plant: Your Water Treatment Expert

Struggling with salty, unusable water? This contamination can halt your operations. We provide a reliable solution to purify your brackish water source, turning it into a valuable asset.

Ocpuritech has over 15 years of expertise in the manufacturing of brine water reverse osmosis (RO) water treatment systems. We stock all essential components and spare parts to meet your maintenance needs. Our equipment includes PLC controllers, control valves, pre-treatment tanks, PP precision filters, booster pumps, high-pressure pumps, and reverse osmosis membranes. Brine water desalination plants utilize reverse osmosis (RO) technology to purify water by forcing it through specialized membranes that remove salts, contaminants, and other impurities. This process delivers fresh, clean water suitable for industrial, commercial, and potable use, effectively addressing water scarcity challenges.

Our full range of brine water reverse osmosis systems offers various capacities (up to 1 million gallons per day), sizes, and TDS levels (up to 5000 ppm of total dissolved solids). Our systems set the standard for the water treatment industry. Our friendly, knowledgeable engineers and sales team are available to provide free support and answer any questions you may have about Ocpuritech reverse osmosis systems.

Ocpuritech reverse osmosis water treatment systems offer high performance at a lower lifecycle cost, saving energy while improving efficiency at an affordable price. We use only high-quality components in the manufacturing and construction of our systems. All our water treatment equipment arrives at your facility ready to operate, simply requiring connection to power and water sources. We also provide the necessary filters, membranes, pipes, control devices, and user manuals, and our engineers are available for remote, one-on-one installation guidance.

Reverse osmosis plays a critical role in various industrial water treatment applications such as power plants, energy facilities, refineries, and boiler feed water treatment. Industrial reverse osmosis is essential for maintaining stable productivity in these industries, as corrosion-related issues can arise in equipment and machinery. Therefore, industrial RO systems are often used as pre-treatment before other advanced water treatment methods are applied. All of Ocpuritech reverse osmosis components are made in China, though we can incorporate imported parts based on customer requirements.

What is Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis?

Brine water contains a higher total dissolved solids (TDS) content than tap water, but its salinity is lower than seawater, and it typically comes from groundwater sources. The impurities in the water make it difficult to use in many applications. For example, brackish well water (if left untreated) can severely damage agriculture, homes, and other applications.

Brine water desalination plants use reverse osmosis (RO) technology to purify water. We utilize high-pressure pumps to push brine water through a semi-permeable membrane. This membrane has microscopic pores that are small enough to allow water molecules to pass through but block larger molecules such as dissolved salts, minerals, and other contaminants. Clean water is collected on one side, while the concentrated waste or brine is flushed away from the other side. It has set the standard for producing high-purity water in the water treatment industry.

The semi-brackish reverse osmosis system is designed to operate at pressures exceeding 15 bar, requiring more energy through higher-pressure pumps. The TDS levels of brine water typically range from 1,000 ppm to 10,000 ppm. The system is designed to handle higher pressure than tap water RO.

What's the Difference Between Fresh Tap Water, Brackish, Highly Brackish, andSeawater?

Salinity (salt) concentration in water refers to the amount of dissolved solids in water, typically measured by weight in milligrams per liter (mg/L) or parts per million (PPM). The level of salinity concentration in water can be categorized as follows:

Water Type TDS Level (ppm)
Tap Water Less than 1000 ppm
Brackish Water 1000 to 5000 ppm
Highly Brackish Water 5000 to 12000 ppm
Ocean orSeawater 12000 to 45000 ppm
